Registering for school

I know August may be months away but now is the time to prepare for the 2011-2012 school year, many schools are registering as early as the end of this month for next school year. Most schools ask that you bring the following items with you when registering: A 3231 Immunization form with up to date immunizations ,a 3300 form with up to date dental, hearing and vision screenings. A social security card or if you elect you may sign a waiver to not present your childs social security card. Many pediatric offices schdules are filling up fast for well child physicals,so be sure to get in early enough to have these screenings complete and call your local school to find out when is registration.

Addicted to OWN

I think I'm addicted to the Oprah Winfrey Network. I have watched three stories back to back, one story was about a young lady paralyzed from the armpits down and pregnant with twins. The next story was about conjoined twins, and now this story is about a little girl with mermaid syndrome. Nothing really surprises me anymore relating to medical mysteries, and so forth but what has me drawn to each story is how society and medicine may have deemed them disabled, they by far show us differently in their documentaries. I am inspired by the way they are confident with themselves, not a lot of complaining, they rely on self and they all have big personalities and  a lot of heart. They definately show survival of the fittest. It's the human evolution, love yourself and be blessed.
